Kwara pupil hangs self for failing exam

A 17-year-old student of the Offa Grammar School, in the Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State, Adegoke Adeyemi, has allegedly committed suicide after failing to gain promotion to the next class in his school. Adegoke, who was found hanging on a tree, reportedly decided to take his life because he would not be moved from Senior Secondary School 1 to SSS 2. FUNAAB releases exam timetable hours after ASUU called off strike

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, has released a revised exam timetable for its students barely 24 hours after the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) called off its strike. WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that ASUU suspended its eight-month-old strike in the early hour of Friday after a meeting in Abuja. The students who were writing their exam when ASUU embarked on a strike in February, 2023, will continue their exam from Wednesday, October 19.
